Throughout these Terms of Service, "AziPDF," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Azillik, the company that operates AziPDF and is headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, India. "Website" means azipdf.com and any of its subdomains or sections. "Service" means the PDF tools, AI features, electronic-signature functionality, and any other functionality made available through the Website. "User" or "you" refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Website or Service, whether as a guest, a registered account holder, or through API access.
By accessing or using the Website or Service in any way, you accept these Terms in full, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, and agree to comply with the acceptable-use obligations set out in Section 4 below. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Website or Service.
These Terms apply to every tool and feature offered under the AziPDF name, including our browser-based PDF processing tools, the Azi voice assistant, AI-assisted features such as Chat PDF and Translate PDF, and our electronic-signature tools. Some features, particularly AI-assisted tools and Advanced Electronic Signatures, may prompt you to accept an additional in-product notice before you use them; where such a notice exists, it supplements these Terms and does not replace them.
The date shown at the top of this page is the date these Terms were last revised, and reflects the version currently in effect. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. As explained in Section 1 below, we will separately notify registered users by email at least 30 days before any material change takes effect.
AziPDF's interface is available in several languages for your convenience, and this document may likewise be offered in translation. Where a translated version conflicts with the English original, the English version is the only legally binding text.
These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of AziPDF, provided by Azillik ("we", "us", "our"), headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, India. By accessing or using AziPDF in any way (as a guest, a registered user, or through our API), you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using our services immediately. This is a binding legal document; the plain-language explanations throughout are for your convenience and do not replace the full legal text.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give registered users at least 30 days' advance notice by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use AziPDF after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
AziPDF, by Azillik, is a free, browser-based PDF toolkit: merge, split, compress, convert, sign, and secure your documents in seconds, with no learning curve.
All standard PDF processing runs directly in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device for these tools, are never uploaded to our servers, and are never stored anywhere outside your own browser session. Your device does all the work.
AziPDF is free: every tool, every feature, every conversion. There are no subscriptions, no credit cards, and no paywalled "pro" tier. The service is sustained by non-intrusive, contextual advertising rather than by charging you.
We may add, change, or discontinue individual tools or features at any time to fix issues, improve performance, or keep the Service reliable, at no cost to you. Where a change is significant, we will highlight it in the product or, for registered users, by email.
AziPDF can be used with or without an account; every core tool works instantly as a guest. Creating a free account adds processing history, saved preferences, and access to e-signature tools.
You are solely responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. When you sign in with Google or Apple SSO, you authenticate through that provider directly, and we never see or store your password on that platform. Notify us immediately at support@azipdf.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We will never ask for your password by email, chat, or phone. Be cautious of messages claiming to be from AziPDF that ask you to "verify" your account or enter your credentials outside azipdf.com; report anything suspicious to support@azipdf.com.
Support is provided by email at no additional cost, on a best-effort basis; because AziPDF is free, we do not guarantee a specific response-time service level, though we aim to reply within 5 business days as noted in our contact sections below.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use AziPDF for lawful personal or business purposes. In using it, you agree to act responsibly and in good faith.
You are responsible for ensuring that any file you process, and any use you make of the output, complies with applicable law and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
You retain 100% ownership of every file you work with on AziPDF. For our client-side tools, processing happens entirely in your browser; we never receive, hold, or gain access to those files, so no licence to them is ever granted to us, because we simply never have a copy.
Where a feature does require sending content to our servers (AI features and Advanced Electronic Signatures, described in the sections below), we process that content solely to deliver the result you requested, and you retain ownership of it throughout.
By using AziPDF, you represent and warrant that:
We recommend testing any tool on a copy of a critical file first, particularly for operations that are difficult to reverse, such as redaction.
AziPDF includes an optional voice assistant ("Azi") that lets you operate supported tools by speaking to them. Your speech is converted to text locally in your browser before anything is sent to our servers; see our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
Chat PDF, AI Summarizer, and Translate PDF use a third-party AI model to generate summaries, translations, and conversational answers about your documents, as described in our Privacy Policy.
A digital mark that identifies the signer, suitable for everyday approvals and informal agreements. Processed entirely in your browser, and no signature data is stored on our servers.
Compliant with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) 910/2014 and equivalent laws. An AES must be uniquely linked to and capable of identifying the signatory, created under the signatory's sole control, and linked to the signed data so that any later alteration is detectable. It includes a legally compliant, timestamped audit trail, which requires limited server-side interaction with a certificate authority; you are always informed before this occurs.
Electronic-signature validity varies by country and document type. It is your responsibility to confirm that our signature tools meet the legal requirements for your specific use case and jurisdiction; AziPDF does not provide legal advice.
AziPDF and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in our services, including the software, algorithms, processing engines, design system, brand assets, trademarks, and original content on our platform.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from our services or content without our prior written consent. Our name, trademarks, and logo may not be used in any product, service, or promotional material we have not provided or explicitly endorsed.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content publicly hosted on AziPDF (for example, on our blog) infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to support@azipdf.com that includes:
We will review valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate. Because our PDF tools process files entirely in your browser without ever reaching our servers, this process applies to content we ourselves publish or host, not to files you process privately with our tools, which we never receive.
AziPDF's website and support content may link to third-party websites or resources, such as a cloud provider's documentation, an AI model provider's policies, or another company's privacy policy. We provide these links for your convenience only.
We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party website. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk, and we recommend reviewing that site's own terms and privacy policy before using it.
AziPDF is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Browser-based processing depends on your device's available memory, CPU performance, and browser version, so results may vary across configurations, and we cannot guarantee identical output on every device.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for:
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to AziPDF will not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees) or the equivalent in your local currency, whichever is greater.
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to provide AziPDF caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or power outages, government action, labour disputes, or the failure of a third-party provider we rely on, such as Vercel, MongoDB Atlas, or Google Gemini.
Where such an event occurs, we will resume normal service as soon as reasonably possible once the event has been resolved.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AziPDF, Azillik, and our officers, employees, and partners from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: your use of AziPDF; your violation of these Terms; the files or content you process through our tools; or your violation of any right of a third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict your access to some or all of AziPDF, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive or fraudulent behaviour, or created legal or security risk for us or other users. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first.
The one exception is a genuine security threat, such as an attempt to hack, introduce malware into, or run a denial-of-service attack against our systems. In that case we may suspend or terminate access immediately and without prior notice, and may report the incident to the relevant authorities.
You may stop using AziPDF, or delete your account, at any time from Account Settings. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will continue to apply after your account is closed.
You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our prior written consent. We may transfer or assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to an Azillik affiliate or to a third party in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, as described in our Privacy Policy. We will notify registered users of any such transfer that affects their rights under these Terms.
AziPDF is headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, India, and available to users worldwide. If you access AziPDF from outside India, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws applicable in your own jurisdiction. EU and UK consumers retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection law of their country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.
Because AziPDF is provided free of charge and does not involve a paid distance contract, the EU/UK statutory right of withdrawal for paid online purchases does not apply. You are free to stop using AziPDF, or delete your account, at any time regardless.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
Before starting any legal proceeding, please contact us at support@azipdf.com so we can try to resolve the dispute amicably; we aim to respond within 5 business days.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. Together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AziPDF regarding your use of the Service. These Terms of Service were last updated on 01 June 2026.
